Great thread! My inspiration was seeing the Vega Ford and I knew my car would be a shade of maroon with cream/tan interior. This is my goal for my 41 Tudor...someday, and Living in SoCal it is a no brainer!
Now if I can just get the balls to break out the Sawzall [emoji631]

Your car is a killer! I learnde to smoke in the back seat of a 48 2dr that was like your 41 the back window didn't roll down very far I got sick back there learning to smoke. HAHAHahahah!!!

Thanks for the much needed thread and pics, John Lee! There were a couple of full custom Carson-lidded Phaetons running around my hometown of Santa Clara around '51-'54. One was a '39, the other was a '41-'48, (sedan with convert windshield...the owner told us 12-year-olds all about it!)
My tub's a 'T'. My '47 Fordor almost became a tub, but my bud with the '47 Convertible cowl/windshield sold it to a Big Buck convertible guy...
One tub's better than none...no use gettin' in 'over your head'! (pun intended)
