I found this on another site. Being a wagon freak I think it is cool as hell. Opinions ? Anyone here ever chop or customize a wagon ?

There is a guy on here, Chopt55bc, that has a wicked 55 chopped wagon. I saw it in Rolls & Pleats a few years ago. Here is a pic of his wagon, sorry for the image size, maybe he will see the post and add pics. I'm looking at a 57 Ford wagon, again, later today.

  6. the photo is a 57 Plymouth. I hate to even post my 52 Plymouth anymore. it just sitting and rusting till I can get back to it. I grafted a front half of a hardtop to the back of a wagon. chopped the hardtop part 3 inches and the wagon part 5 inches to match the roofs

Kerry, pick a style that you like, then set up a plan. Are you gonna shoot for mid 50s style? Late 50s? Early 60s? traditional with some modern amenities? What is going to be your use for wagon? Daily driver? Show? All this stuff plays a role. You have a big time advantage in that your 56 is a nice body style and looks good as it is. Customize with a plan and you won't go wrong

I am planning on keeping the car black. I like the way the primer looks but I am going to do it in a suede paint so it is more even. I would still like to flake the roof green, add some white walls and dog dish caps, or paint the rims black and add bullets & chrome lugs. Maybe some pinstriping on the dash & tailgate. As for the interior, I have to install my door panels and it needs a headliner. Thinking of a furry white headliner, or would that be stupid ?
