I am thinking about making a wood bed for my 1960 F100 and I am looking for ideas and pictures. Thanks all

 

Don't do it! I've never seen a wood bed on a truck that looked right. Wood beds just scream to me: Look, I'm too cheap or lazy to buy, build, or find a steel bed.

Ya, if your talking Flatbed type Wood bed I fully agree. Just don't do it. It rates right up there with paint to match should be Chrome Bumpers. Now if your talking top cl*** Wood flooring for your stock Metal truck bed. You wood be on the right track.

If you decide on a wood bed there are a number of ways to do it. This is how I did my bed wood.
There are places that sell bed wood kits if you don't want to mill your own.

 

That is one NICE Ford! Love the bed, too.
