I heard from a buddy of mine that you can cut windshields now with some kind of tile cutting tool you get from lowes or home depot. What is it and does it really work have any of you hambers tried it? I've got to cut a windshield for my 54 thats chopped 5 inches and I was just going to try the sandblasting trick. If this method would work better I might be interested in it. How much does the tool cost also? Or is it all just a bunch of B.S.

I don't remember the post either but I tried it with a Makita cordless and non serated diamond blade and got close but still split my windshield.

I think the saw was about a hundred fifty and the blade was another forty or so.

I would try the sand blast method.
