I just bought a 34 fiberglass roadster that looks similar to street beast but is not street beast.my question is I would like to cut off the fiberglass windshield frame and install either a metal frame windshield or a duval windshield.I realize that there will probably be some fiberglass work to be done to smooth out the cowl

Has anyone done anything like this and is it even possible.thanks jimbo

Is your car a cabriolet? That would have an integral part of the body around the chrome frame. I think Street Beasts made cabriolets too.

If you have a cabriolet, that type of body would take a lot of modification to fit a roadster windshield frame and posts to it. It could be done, but consider how the front of the doors will match up to the cowl. I'd suggest gathering a bunch of pics of roadsters and cabriolets before you gather up the saws. Study it through in your head. It's not a common modification, if ever.
