I particularly liked the picks from the mornings with the dew on the cars. They reminded me of the Hershey experience that I once knew but then again any flea market pictures light my fire.

I was there Thursday on, just using it as a base. The toy guy had taken it over, chased him out and set up lapping over a little into 16...sold almost everything I took, speed equipment I didn't really need, spent most of my time walkabout. One piece I sold will apparently be on TV soon...odd and mysterious venue, more on that later!
Space was temporary use, will be somewhere else if I can get one for next year.

Funny how much stuff I miss seeing every year! I was there from Tuesday on & missed half of what you took photos of! Too busy catching up with people I only get to see a couple times a year.

Hey Brucie, great photos. The '29 roadster, in your last batch of photos, with the Hagerstown tag topper wil be in the Jalopyrama this year. Hope you'll be able to make it down to the show.

So you didn't like being my neighbor?!?!? How crazy is it that your spot was right behind me and we never realized it all week?!?!? We were just lamenting how we hoped you kept your spot there so we could gain all of your Ford knowledge through osmosis!

It was nice to finally meet you as well. Being able to talk Flatheads with another girl was pretty rad too!

Looking forward to seeing you racing in OHIO!

  12. Frank Morawski called me today to tell me he just received a letter from the AACA informing him that his Fred Carrillo Bonneville roadster has been nominated for the National Award for the best compe***ion car shown in 2011. Not sure which other cars might have also been nominated, but the award will be made at the National Business Meeting in Philadelphia next February.

SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now have the Best Photographer shoot some killer slides of the car,or whatever format they now request and sent them in on time. Personally I'd send along a copy of The Rodders Journal that featured the car as well. The Tony Nance 22Jr Nail Head Buick was the FIRST "Hot Rod" to ever win this award, it's about time they gave it to another true HOT ROD. :D

The judges really wanted the car to have a shot at being judged last year, even gave the guys a second chance on the show field Saturday, but it wouldn't fire.

Really great pictures. I spent Friday there wish I had more time. Sure glad it was last week, we've had a lot of rain the last few days.

Ha!!...yes, we should have had a *Jersey Guys Meet and Greet!*....at least for us guys along the coast!

I just tried all of the nearby hotels today to try to reserve a couple of nights for next year, and EVERYTHING was already booked!! Sheesh........and I can't afford the Hershey Lodge for $320 a night.........a real eye opener!
