  2. Ex So Cal Coupe: in the late 50's Richard Stricker & Jerry Esiert ran the coupe with a front mount blowner on a Cad engine, Jerry owned Specialty Automotive in Montebello or Whittier and Rich owned Stricker Engineering in Maywood Ca. When I was 16 I worked for Rich in the machine shop doing clean up work and pickup & deliveries. The coupe was stored in the back room of the shop, after my clean up duties I'd go to the back room and uncover the coupe and get in and make like I was a big racer at B-ville/ ElMo. I LOVED that race car! I asked Rich if he would sell it to me, he told me NO, he said if something happened to you while racing I couldn't live with himself, he know my Mom & Dad and my brother who also worked for Rich as a machinist. The coupe was later sold to Jim Travis for somewhere around $1800. The blue push truck behind the coupe was Rich's daily driver, it had a blown Cad engine in it and it HAULED ASS!.
