Good morning, Hot-Rodders and merry Labor-Day to all. Does anyone know of a source for "cycle-fenders" such as used on T-buckets, etc. I've searched and searched and can't seem to locate anyone making them. Thanx, as always, COPCO.
Get a 1930's trunk mounted spare tire cover rim and cut it in half. It's traditional and works great. You can pick a rim up for $75-$125 and you'll have two fenders.
You can also use boat trailer fenders. I made the brackets fro mine and used socket head SS screws for mounting them.
Good Grief ! I've heard that, I don't know how many times; hah, think I'd remember it...............duh. Good call, and thanks for the reminder. I tried a couple of utility trailer fenders, but they were way, way too heavy. Thanx, again!! COPCO
And, another good call. I didn't think of the "boat trailer" fenders. And, that's some nice work on the fabrication pix. Mine is a '39 Chevy coupe, fenderless. I've got the fenders but love it without 'em. Thanx, again for the suggestion (and pix.) COPCP
Cycle fenders.....the missing item when building to the 50's era. Fender laws were at times strictly enforced.
You couldn't find anyone here ? http://search.aol.com/aol/search?&q=motor+cycle+fenders&s_it=oneclick-ch
