I am designing a set of Motor mounts for my Model T Update, and i am wondering where you all are getting your bushings, the ones that are like 2" long that go into a 1.25 Tube?

I see speedway has them in like a custom kit with everything for a SBC, but all i need are the short pieces of tube with the bushings in them.

  7. Yeah, great link! I've been looking for those interlocking tube attachment pieces and that's a great price on them!

You might want to know that those bushings are a type of plastic, not the good neoprene rubber--enough said

Who lubes plastic bushings? (proper way is to use Ultima, or a 'lubricating' material)

I use Chevy truck leaf spring bushings. Most parts stores have the poly replacements, but the OE rubber works fine, too.

Try Energy Suspension. High quality Urethane bushings for tons of applications and universal bushing sets as well. Summit and Jeg's are both dealers. I built all of my 4-link links using their bushings.
