I did not know what section to post this in so I chose hot rods Daddy put a Rocket olds with shaved heads, put ball bearings in the lifters to make them solid Mercury rear end, juice brakes, O/D 3 speed with slave cylinder to accuate clutch Reground cam, dual exhaust ......it was light and walked away from most of the hi po cars in the 50s Hardly none had an arc welder back then, everything was gas welding We lived around ranches and farms and Daddy welded many a trailer with a gas welder ............................................ Someone a few years ago asked me to post a pic of Daddys Vicky, we finally found a pic Papa bought the car new After Daddy came home from the pacific in WWII, Papa said take the car, I aint gonna drive it no more, I bought a newer one Thats my older Sis and me in the pic He modified the 32 every year or so Daddy turned 100 last year, the Avatar pic is when he was around 85 Ricky.

Daddy more than a few older cars from mostly gutted cars He had a 40 Ford coupe he modified most everything, a 40 convertible lincoln he put an olds engine in He said a lot of the V-12s would crap out, I think I still have the intake from the V-12 and some interior dash/console pieces There was Ford, cant remember what year, was real young .. with a rumple seat Daddy would take us to a burger stand or get ice cream on weekends, I got to ride in the rumple sest .... He currently has a 1970 LTD 4 door, with a 351 Windsor and around 33,000 miles He turned 100 last December I will post some pics of his earlier cars he had when he came home from the South Pacific after WW II is any one is interested Ricky.
