Awesome. What a treasure! And thanks to your dad for keeping them all these years. Got a hold of a similar stash from my dad a few years back, and it is one of my prized possessions.

None that I'm aware of, but you never know what may turn up in the future.

From Cordova???? Which direction? We lived on a farm just a cornfield or two away from the strip, until 1971.

well, maybe its like 6 miles...not sure of exactly the distance, but its really close. It is on highway 30 in between Fulton and Morrison. They ran a saw mill there from 1925-1980. They also raised livestock, pigs...cows, ect....plus the farm fields. It would have been in full swing in 1971. Wouldn't be suprised if you knew about it then. My great grandpa's last name was Abbot. Arnie "the farmer" Beswicks farm is about 500 yards from the edge of our field.

Yep.... It was done... A few year ago a buddy of mine had a '33 Plymouth coupe, originally built in the late 50's, that had IFS (From a 1st gen Vette, I believe)... Ugly IFS, but IFS none the less.

  16. Some iron from the '57 Cordova Nationals..

My dad, Dick Gulliver and his brother Bill swept class SE that year, with Top Speed and Top Eliminator. The trophies live today in my office at my collector car dealership. Couldn't be more proud!
