Here are a couple videos of my late father's 49 shoebox. It has a .060 over 8ba flathead, 3 deuces, isly 77b cam and sanderson headers with tiny glasspacks.

Way cool. Can you be a bit more specific on the exhaust? What "tiny glass pack" mufflers? What diameter pipe? It's a lot louder than mine with Red's Headers and 2" exhaust with Allied straight through mufflers.

It has full 2 inch exhaust with like 10 or 12 inch long El cheapo glasspack mufflers from a muffler shop. Like the cheapie silver ones

Thanks for the info. My mufflers are El cheapos as well, also silver. I think "Allied" is the brand name. They're 18" though, which must explain the sound level. They sound great, a nice solid deep tone with a manipulative light cackle under acceleration. I wouldn't mind it a touch louder overall though, oh well, 'tis what it is.

Thank you very much. I'm honored to be it's current caretaker. I wish dad could see the car now.
