The night before that show,Joe replaced the 54 Merc taillights with 55 Lincoln lenses and while I was takin the photos he was sawing up a set of exhaust tips for the car!

 

I will post pix sometime this week. That must have been Donna you smoked with. I was the only Non-smoker in my family.

Hey CHOPMERC,You forgot to mention that your merc was also an early unchopped Fonz car that he had before the chopped mercs!It still had Debbie and Donnas names on it and the maroon paint was 20 years old when I first descovered it in North JerseyBefor ethat,.I had only seen the cars in pictures from the 70s that Joe showed me!

I wish I lived by him so I could ask questions and learn about kustoms. I first saw the Fonz at the Keystone Nats up here in Bloomsburg. He was a very nice person and willing to help others out, especially when it came to flamethrowers. later shawn
