    Kirk,
Thanks for taking time to post updates of the trip, I greatly appreciate your time and efforts.
Is Chad going to make a movie of this adventure?

  10. I envy that they can get that many cars to committ to a trip like that. It was awesome seeing all of them in Indy. Thanks for all of the updates.

  13. Just got back from Indy last night.

The cars on the tour where awesome. The T-bird looked great with the altittude adjustment.

I ran into Kirk! at the swap Saturday morning. He was buying a few new friends to keep the clown company on the way home.

I had a great conversation with the owner of one of the Rodfather tour cars. His '34 Tudor was getting a broken panhard bar mount fixed at Jokerrs shop just before Jo's open house. It was neat hearing about the trip from another participant.

Ya'll should try the 72oz steak at the Big Texan Steak house in Amarillo.....free if you can eat it and all the trimmings in an hour. I was there in June and watched a guy eat it. Waaaaay too much food for me in one sitting!! My wife and I did get a piece of carrot cake to take back to the hotel, and it filled a large "to go" plate, must have weighed a couple of pounds. They even offer free limo service to the restaurant from the hotels. Most of all have fun, be safe, and keep us updated on the trip.

    DAY TWELVE.....

    OK, back at it!

We left Indy yesterday at noon and headed for St. Louis, stopping at RIdeTech in Jasper, Indiana on the way. RideTech was a great stop and the products coming from them are seemingly endless.

In St. Louis we had two stops. I don't have the names here in front of me, but they were private collections. One high-end and one more traditional. Both cool!

Today we stopped at Darryl Starbird's museum in Oklahoma. It's packed with a great cross-section of show rods. I've never been a show rod fan, but I shot some stuff anyway for you guys.

TOnight we're in Sand Springs, OK. One stop tomorrow and ending up in Amarillo, TX.

Pics from the past four days....

Yea - but I can tell those focus raging eyes - you been smokin some of those stalks.......

We know those eyes around these parts.

In certain parts of the state you put on a wide brimmed black hat and you'd fit right in.

The Birds lookin good by the way.
