I was wondering why that shot came out a little blurry. [IMG]

well, we lost out to the Mustang Club (ugh) for best club display but it wasn't a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Just wanted to show off Boom Boom's airbrushed shirts and our club display at the Auto-trauma...dig.

  8. Cool Display guys. It's a winner as far as I'm concerned.

Did you happen to meet a tatooed kid that works for the show named Race? I'm sure you would remember him [IMG]

He said the burn out contest was out of control. any pics of that.

Yeah Elrust-o.... MarkX, Flt-Blk, Merc50 and I had just walked off from talking to that guy who was detailing the Ardun roadster when you must have taken that picture.

I need to get a freakin' HAMB tattoo on my forehead or something....

Other than the Chups cars and about 3-4 other cool cars in the show.... it was a Vette-Mustang-Viper bolt on show!
I think that this might be the last time I give my hard earned $12 to see a bunch of cars that I can see for free by stopping by a Ford or Chevrolet dealership....
    WTF?
It gets worse every year. Some of the trucks were so awful that I almost shat myself.
I have been going to this show since I was knee high to a grasshopper and I remember more customs in years past than were there this year and the past 2-3 years...
I think that next year we should organize a HAMB car show out in the parking lot durring the Autorama!
Maybe I am getting old and grumpy...

Hmm sounds like I didn't miss much. That's a good looking set-up you Chups had there. I like HC's idea, next year its the HAMBorama.

Hey roadstar, I met Race for the first time at the show on
    Sunday.

Me Wiskey and Jessica (The newest Devil Bunny) busted ass back from the Starbird show in Tulsa so she could see Race
    in Dallas.

The Chupacabra display ruled, BoomBoom took home a trophy
with the orange and green seaweed flamed shoebox.

Hey HC, It was good to finally meet you and a few other Coollows. I gotta agree with ya on the state of the AutoTrauma. Man its just not the same. I have my suspicions that theres a little political good ol boy faction kreepin in. On the other hand its somthing I always wanted to do even if it was kind of a let down. It was cool gettin an award, (Scotts bucket got one also) but I was really disappointed that they picked the Mustank club for best club display. We put a lot of time and effort putting together a display we thought was pretty cool only to get beat by eight stock mustangs with a Banner! Oh well, the Roundup is only a month away and Pistons and Paint will be at the end of summer. (Stay tuned for the PnP location)
Johnny Ill make ya deal on them shirts ;-) Thanks to all who liked the display. You know I actually had guys older than me ask me who Roth was. At the Frickin Autorama!

Congratulations on the award Boomboom. Ironically I came across a message board for the mustang club when I was looking for autorama info last week. I saw what they were bringing and well it wasn't very impressive. I think the Chups display is much more deserving of the award. So, was it you Boomboom that came to look at a grey primered '56 caddy 4dr in richardson about 3 years ago? Some guy that came and test drove it had a pic of a car alot like yours.

Hey Revhead, Thanks for the congrats! The club worked pretty hard to come up with somthing different for a display so it means alot to know it was apprceiated. Nope werent me that looked at the Caddy, I might have it instead of my shoebox if I had! I had a 49 sedan at that time that I traded to get my 50. The picture you were shown back then was probably Steve Sellers car from California. What happen to the Caddy?

some guy in sweden named Magnus bought the caddy. I'm not sure if it ever got shipped over there or not. It was one of those cars I wish I hadn't let go, but I need reliable transportation real bad.

Set up looks good. Wish I could have made it out.

Don't sweat it BoomBoom. You know you guys had the best setup.

Next year they will give it to the Big D little T's T-bird club. They have to swap off each year so it does'nt look rigged. I think they have a rivalry just like the Blood's and Crypts.

We were at the Autorama all weekend. Did anyone of you guys pass by the Killer Ridez booth? We had the frame to the '37 along with some wheels and shirts. We were in the same room as the Chups display.

My Fiance' seen a couple of girls Sunday afternoon with the Devil Bunny jackets walking around and was curious who they were? Any info on them? Devil Bunnies in general?

The Bunnies are a group of HotRod honies from Kansas! Whisky is a bad ass pin striper and is also on the board. She could give you the straight skinny.
