So, I went and visited Dan Picasso, aka Foiled Again, over Thanksgiving holiday. Dan live WAY WAY out in the corner of Texas, Marathon, Texas. Seems that Dan's girlfriend just bought some property in town. And the property had some junk on it. So, Dan asks around to find out who's junk this is and apparently the ex-owner is know to be "gone for good". Looks like Dan just laid claim to a new project. Speaking of abandoned old cars. Spotted this hulk in the Dallas area last month. A hillbilly mechanic laid claim to it, but when we made an offer on some other rust that "wasn't for sale", we found that a little money spoke pretty loudly. Anyone want a Hudson Terraplane Pickup?
hey! looka me! I got a big Volvo! wee-e-ell....we didn't exactly steal it, just sort of....annexed it. thanks to Jason for the help in moving the old bastard. we had fun! it's very picturesque sitting in my little brother's backyard. whether or not it is in fact MY project is entirely up to question, though. it may be up for grabs, we'll see. me, I'd do it up like a WW2 staff car- olive drab, star on the door, whip antenna, maybe 4WD. go looking for Rommel in it.
If you would please just send the Hudson on up here to ol NC to me...... Thanks BTW seriously how much did he want for it????

I have standards, you know- if I lived in a trailer it'd be an Airstream or at least a Silver Streak or an Avion. and what's this about a mullet, anyway? I had me a ponytail. that's far worse.
oh so your girlfriend lives in the trailer! dan, if you ever feel nostalgic for the twin cities, look up the Atmosphere song Primer.
That "Fabio" is the Dr. Pepper swigging Jeff Keller who logged on the HAMB once upona time as "True To Form". He's my partner in crime. I think it would take $2000 or so to take that truck away. Still interested? I'll prep some other pics and send them to ya. Dan - I think Pat is right. That rolled Explorer in your neighbor's yard is just waiting for project donor status. If you don't do it, remember to offer all those fabulous parts to your HAMB pals.
