Did anyone get a photo of Dan Webb's Track-T at the SEMA show?

    Thanks...Mike

  2. Hmmmmmmmmmm, I guess I would have to see it in person.

Was it actually a finished car?

To the right of the drawing, you can see the edge of the rear tire of a full-scale drawing of the car. Pretty cool.

Here are a few more, these were taken in March of 2005. Dan said that he didn't want them on the internet until after the car was shown at SEMA.

The Steering Wheel has Ashley's name etched into it, a hand made piece as is most of the car.

Anybody have details/pics of the front suspension?

It looks to be narrow mounted 1/4 ellips with a wishbone 3rd link and friction damps....

Also, Has anybody driven this beast?

I've got a ton of build pics but no scanner. The ft. suspension is 1/4 elliptics w/handmade friction shocks, a funny car steering rack and the coolest part...leather wraps on the springs.

Take a close look at the spindles. They have the caliper brackets molded into them. Lots of welding and grinding and polishing here. The rear suspension is just as cool and fully adjustable.

I think they are modified Dayton wires.

  27. IS the Y looking thing an 3rd member of the steering rack mount? Is the steering box mounted to the axle? That would cure bump steer.

Dooowd. I mean.............really. Uh..............Wow. Cars like this help me keep a healthy perspective. I cannot even draw like that let alone build like that. I am a talentless maggot. But content.
