Projects Dana 41 rear axles

    I was under the impression they were nine inch. Way over kill, but they needed the design to transfer the power. I am sure the eight inch would work the same. Maybe both were used.Looks like Anthony provided us a picture of one!

    May be a DAMN LIE, cause I'm on my second New Years eve drink, but i think I read that Shelby used the 44 in the first Cobras. I know, nothing to do with 41's. But these things are pretty stout.

    The 2wd postal Jeep's 44's (center carrier) were all posi, 3:73 geared, an had the desirable flanged or one piece axle's.
    Off set 44's, Were used in all mid 60's-71 CJ's with the 225 dauntless Buick, An all had the one piece axle's
