DANGER! DANGER! My dad's roadster Round Up bound!!!

Very nice Bob! I'm always looking forward to seeing threads started by you, no disappointment ever. The Roadster looks killer, bet you made your old man very happy! --mika

 

I have been very fortunate to been able to spend time with Bob Sr. in all my
trips to WI. and the Merkts always make me feel at home....Bob and his relationship with his dad is very special and one I always wished I had with
my dad...Not only is Bob Sr. the Coolest guy but he also plays a mean guitar.
Bob will call me and spend 20 minutes telling me funny stories about what his
Dad did during the week...I think we need a Merkt reality show.

I was aslo lucky enough to be there when Bob gave his dad the car for his
birthday..he was blown away...and going back to WI in the past years I've
been watching the build of the car and I also fell in love with this car.

Im so excited for your dad hes put a tone of work into it and he deserves
every piece of it....

That car is SOOOOOOO DAMMM COOL!!!! I wish I could of been there.

I'm stoked you guys got it running and driving!

It was really cool to see this car come together one piece at a time. Bob and his dad really have 'the eye' for hot rods. Not just the overall look, but the details as well... Senior's roadster is just another perfect example of this, and one more of many to come.

And for anyone that didn't already know, Delafield, WI really IS the center of the Hot Rod universe!

i had so much fun even though i just kinda hung out til it was drivin, but watchin that amazing car driving at 4am was SOO crazy.. im so happy for him, he really deserves it..

man that came a long way sice I saw it in the back of a semi in PA, congrats to you both, I get to work along side my dad everyday, its awsome and sucks at the same time, Your dad is a fucking ruler. That is too cool, Bleed! The car looks great and what's even greater is that you and your dad are doing this as a team. My dad and I are thrashing on his t-bucket on an underslung chassis and hope to make the Roundup with it next year. It's been so enjoyable figuring out everything on this car with my dad and the knowledge from the HAMB that I don't even care about my own roadster project anymore. I wanna see my dad do a big burnout all the way down the street!

I love that roadster. It doesn't have an untouched or stock pannel on it, and yet it looks like thats how it came from the factory.
