I'm ready to start with a rewire on my 46 Ford, I'm going to convert the stock gauges to 12 volt. What gauge wire to use?? Thanks

  2. 14 to 16 ga. Will work. Be sure to use different color wires. Someday you'll be old and can't remember which is what.

  3. And WRITE THE COLORS DOWN on paper and keep with the cars records or even glove box.

  5. Buy yourself a "Project Build Book" from Stacey David's website "GearZ" they are $19.99 and are designed for keeping track of what you do to your project. Get one for your buddy's project, too.

The guage wiring kits come with 16, and so far, is working ok in my ride.

    Ditto, re; the "old part!"
