Excuse my ignorance as I haven't had the pleasure of being around a lot of old bangers, but what years did Ford use the bank of 4 coils on their cars? 1908 - 1931? Were they all the same?

I rescued some coils some one was throwing away at an estate. I noticed one of them had a br*** knurled knob instead of a nut for the gap adjustment. They pretty much all look the same though and wondered.

For some reason I can't resist these. I just think they are beautiful all cleaned up. For the longest time I had 1 for a bookend on a shelf.

Ford last used 4 coils on the '27 Model T. There are many varieties. Ford used coils from various manufacturers.
