This is Texas Street Rod’s of Big Spring,Tx next project a 1940 Ford Coupe built by Dave Stuckey. We will be painting it red/orange like it was when it was feature in Hot Rod Magazine back in Dec. 1963

There was another thread on here in the last few months or so about the car with some great pics of it from back in the day!

Removing all the paint, there are about 7 coats. All the custom work is done in lead and still in great shape. [IMG] [IMG]

Didn't like it back then, don't care for it now either. But I recognize that it represents a lot of hard work so my hat's off to you on the recent repaint.

Wow, life is weird...............' looks as though all the fecal flingers who weighted in on the Joe Wilhelm built Mark I Mist must be on holiday:D

Can the building of early street rod clones be the next big thing?;)
