A couple of things look odd to me. I will wait to see and ask, in person.

..and no, I don't mean the spin-on filter either.;)

Okay, then that damn rust lol J/K.

And where may i ask do you get your info?? I did tell a few people about the 324 i have here but hmmm not many.. I have the 324 here at my shop if you would like to see, I did not use that block this time thats going in my other 32 chassis I have a Halibrand rear, ford rear and all the crossmembers and a bunch of trinkets need a body now. I did use the 303 pistons over again. I went over board making it look pretty but hey its my buisness for pete sake!! :D Heres a pic of the pistons that are in the 303 and 49 only had this oil pressure port in the back of block!

OH and Frank the camshaft is just for you ;) And not that roller for 1800.00 in the classifieds This Engine only cost me $1000.00 give or take for parts. But she`ll look good :)

Dave, I will call you later in the week about Fitchburg...waiting on my Buddy to see if he will cancel, if it is calling for steady rain. He was going to get a vendor spot.

If I do get up there, I will have the hubs and also some donor wishbone tubing for HammeredT. He's not responding on his 32 thread.

If you are signed up with Photobucket or Youtube, you upload it to there first, then copy the URL that they assign to it. Then, just copy that URL and paste it on your post.

I was not able to post my video as most people can, with the picture with a start arrow, so I just put up the URL link.

Yep, we followed the coupe down the runway and saw the tires light up and get squirrely...... and also when he got out to the main road.....he took off nice and easy, and with the headers opened, we could hear how it held 1st for a good bit, then into second...and shortly after that, them dang tires lit up again.

Nice engine build Dave, and great parts,Tony:cool:. It really sounds nice and rattle-free inside. Very quiet like a blueprinted motor.

We enjoyed being around the car today and shooting the breeze towards the end of the show.

Hope H.T. can get todays video to work.

Brett Thanks appreciate it Now are you rested up from vacay..... Time to get yours done :)

Frank it was great to chew the fat with you,Mack,Rob,Danny and the other guys, hope i dont get int trouble for lighting them up taking off.... I need to let the tranny shift on its own instead of trying to shift it. Hopefully with the new slicks coming from Cody and pops from Hurst It will be quicker :D

I hope Jeff doent stay MIA and can post the video

Titus Jeff thanks I am very happy with it Not bad for a bunch of used thrown together parts....

Nick it was great talking with you too we will have to get that pic together.

I gotta thank my friend Andrew for spending the last few nights helping me at my shop getting this done Thanks buddy.

    Yes it works fine.

Like I said before, my computer is not working right...I can click on your latest video and it works, but when I click on any of HT's three new videos, nothing works and the "activity light" on my modem is not blinking at all.

    Frank,

Your not missing much in my videos. The sound is bad and Dave never throttled it up so there were no flames.

Jeff, I got back online an hour later and got all three to work fine.

I was just wanting to see if you were still there filming when the cam lope turned into a bit of a "Detroit Roll" at least twice. Now that was cool to hear.

Ha, Mack sure is looking at something on the motor in 2 vids.. :) ...

He showed up today here right before going to 2nd shift at Pratt. He was saying how much room Dave's coupe has when you are in the driver seat....and he is a big guy. I asked him if he went home and cut up his 31 Coupe fenders like Dave's yet:D ...he is really ready to put a 32 frame under it and get rid of the full fenders. Look out Dave, he should have the coupe at the Fitchburg drags...and he loves to race. Blown chev, A/T but he'll go Muncie if the frame swap happens.

Frank Jeff was gone by the time we left. I wish we got a video I would like to see if it looked impressive or not, My co-pilot was oohing and awing lol an dthen he was telling me to take it easy i looked at him and said i was ;).

I think mack was looking at the billet valley pan?? IDK if i told him about the 58 heads ;)

Frank you tell mack to get working and remember its only 330 ft:rolleyes: i will run him blower or not, who does his engines? My car isn`t fast it just sounds mean with the chokes closed on 2 carbs:D.

The seats are austin healy or mg and they fit well with the way the car is done. Did you sit in it i asked you to drive it but you said no:(

The fenders grow on you or atleast they did me and will probably be better when i get the new slicks and rims. Hope to see you guys again was a heck of a time much needed. Today i was dragging ass. a guy from the early ford club stopped in the shop today and asked me what the hell i had in that thing i told him a 49 olds 303 he said wow thats a big motor for back then sounds good!!

That makes 2 race challenges that I know of, and the motor just went in. Fitchburg drags is shaping up to be a good time.

Here's the two of his cars; one will be racing at Fitchburg. Old magazine pic of his Chevy II, and the Model A. He did the 396 but the A has an unknown engine build. It's cammed up is all that is apparent.

Ok, now that I am warm and got some sleep, I regret saying no:eek: ...I got up at 1:30 am to get ready, and I did not wear a warm coat, so I just wasn't feeling too great.

Funny as heck; Mack said 1/2 way home "You should have given that bitch a ride". And I said, "Who???,... That 20 year old cutie at the grocery store that told me my daily O/T mild custom 'was beautiful" ? He said NO!!!,.. Dave's COUPE!!!! :D
