Yes i stopped in didn`t race.. Not my thing to see a bunch of muscle cars run and drag cars i would go to the dragstrip to see that stuff. I liked seeing the handful of Nostalgia cars there. Did you race? Asked for me?
yup i raced my willys--only lost 2x all day---i in street rod i was third--a few guys in the stage lanes were talking about your car---
AAHH i see didnt notice your pic til now or your car... I seen u run very impressive was fast. Talking about my car HMM all good i hope but suspect not... Its just a old Hot Rod not meant to run like it did. Whats your willys got chebby and auto??
thanks--not too bad for swap meet parts thrown together-- -we were saying how tough your car looked and how good it went etc---guy had a 34 red coupe---his bud had a 34 white with 80s stripe down the sides----good guys--- yup---belly button 350 and th350.....lol -small block and a th350 used cam, heads ,and carb, used nigh stalker converter--used center section 9'' .i used the pulleys and stuff that came with the car when i bought it last year--- was a fun time

oh ya! that thing was hookin early on----aint no way it was stock! 1. the 32 truck with the roof cut off---he won 1st place i was spinning off the line in the rt lane----if i have lt lane i think i woulda had him 2.and a satin black 32 blown big block with pie cutter skinny old school slicks on the back---he won once and then i won the next time [raced him 2x]
AAAHH yes Rattlers truck and Jimmy Burgess or Durgess I think someone said. He was fast. The right lane had some spills i heard, you where getting it done man. and the BBC modelA was quick too I think it was Dick from CAP nice guy and fast car. I dont have good enough brakes to go that fast in 330ft and i dont think my car would do it anyway.
Your car could go that fast it if you'd put that small block Ford in there like you were threatening!

Doing just fine thanks! Yup, going to the HRR at Epping. The shop is gonna set up and I have the 54 registered as a push car for a good friend from Penna's competition roadster making its debut up here. Should be a good time. Stop by when you get a chance.
