Does anyone know what happened to David? I can't remember his last name but he always had a lot of Ford 8" and 9" ***emblies and parts for sale. His avatar picture showed him looking like he was Amish. Thanks

 

Think his last name was Ritter. If that helps.

 

Go to craigslist auto parts in Akron OH. Type ford 9" in the search bar and you will see his ads. Great guy to deal with.

He was banned. What great source of information? I see he had 104 posts. Every one of them an ad with parts for sale, zero posts with information.

 

Well, great source for hard to get parts then. Somebody needs to lift the ban hammer off him.

 

When I PM'd him with questions, he sent back answers.

 

I thought I would briefly revive this thread since it came up in a Duckduckgo search I did for David Ritter. I've been looking for a Ford 8 inch third member (case only, no guts) and ran across him on Craigslist and Facebook. The price is great ($80) and shipping is $26 for Priority mail (it just fits in the largest box w/caps removed). Called him as requested and seems to be a nice, very business-like person. It's my first Craigslist purchase as I generally find sellers to sound hinky, if I find anything at all that I am looking for.

His price is good, his shipping is at cost and kept to the lowest possible. Good, prompt contact and very friendly. I don't know what led to him being banned but a good seller is someone to keep close at hand and I think this is a stand up guy. I will follow up on this after I get the case. He does only check or money orders so I sent a check out yesterday.
