Hi Matt. Hope all is going well. Fun thread. The night I brought the Willys home from Canada, long day, two border crossings, paperwork, $$ changing hands, loading/unloading, at the home1.jpg DSC00660.JPG willlys 2.jpg willystrailer.jpg pilot seat willys.jpg McDonald's parking lot in Burlington WA. 1st day in the shop, car had rear ended someone, major crunchy left front. 1st drive, my neighbor [AKA the "artist"] giving encouragement. On the trailer first time to the track! 2023 the Estranged drags at Toutle, my kid took this photo, his fist pass in the car.

How it started, how it’s going . Guy bought it in 1963 with a grenaded 39 trans and it sat since ever since, found timing slips (hand written) from 1959 in the glove box IMG_0718.jpeg IMG_2691.jpeg

After a year. Preservation of the body is key here. But some rubber rake with wheel rake, new motor, rebuilt trans, rewired, etc etc etc etc... YAWN, you know the drill.
