Has anyone heard from any of the Dayton area HAMBers since the storms? I sent a message to Milo( scrapmetal 48) yesterday and haven't gotten any response, anyone else? Just concerned about our people, Carp.

Back up. Hoping for the best. Milo is a good dude, love the cars he builds. Thoughts and prayers out to all affected by the far too numerous storms of late.................Don.

Hi all, finally back on line after those fuckin tornados danced around our neighborhood and many others.. Had some structural damage but minor compared to a lot of other people in the area.. We and the cars are Ok but Dayton, Brookville, Trotwood and others will be rebuilding for quite sometime.. I hope it's 72 more years before I experience that again.....

Welcome back, Milo! Had a like experience when we lived in Tenn. and don't really want to see it again. Glad you and yours are OK, Carp

Good to hear that you came through it relatively unscathed, Milo. I read about all of the storms and flooding and wonder just how do you pick up the pieces and try to rebuild your life when you get to be this late in life.:(

It’s been a long time since we experienced that here. It was June 3,1980 when we had our bad experience with tornadoes. We had 5 or 6 of them that night. It took Grand Island years to get that mess rebuilt. I feel sorry for you having to go through that
