Daytona Instruments Quad Gauge

I recently acquired a car with one of these in it and found out the temp gauge is reading 40 degrees too low. (no, it's not the sender)

I'm gonna replace it but I need to know what the ohm range of the fuel level sender for this setup is. Anybody know? (to save me from having to pull the tank)

Is the sender wrapped in plumbers' tape?? Might affect the reading...
