For those of you who don't have the pleasure of living in the rust belt, here's some REAL michigan patina. It wouldn't be the rust belt if they didn't dump a million tons of salt on the roads each winter. Can you imagine what a 50 year old car looks like when we find one???
Dude, what are we gonna do with you and your cavalier at***ude??? That thing is actually pretty cherry for a Michigan car...you shoulda seen some of MY former beaters...dang!! Now, photo-hack a wicked chop, cool visor, steelies and lakes pipes on that beast and thrill the kiddies at the rockabilly bars!!!
Heck, there's enough material missing on the bottom.. I would just channel it and make a rat rod out of it.
Perfect ride for Michigan Rednecks!!! <img src=http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid83/p3057cdc75c878a4a6b6e97b41c8aba8d/fad3f773.jpg> No WONDER they laugh at us in California!!!
Now if that were in minnesota, that would be a clean, nice used car. They look like that after a few years, then after about ten years, they rust so bad they just fall apart. Dave
If that was an Idaho car the wheelwells would be totally gone. Also there would be rust-thru spots all over the body where the gravel chipped the paint and the top of the hood and trunk would have the paint baked off by the sun.
