I lost my older brother to that damned cancer a few weeks ago. We built and raced stock cars years ago. The best part of our lives. You have that too.
Belated and most sincere condolences to his family and all his friend. Like most on here, too many family members and friends lost to that crap.
Sad news indeed, cancer is a scourge that I pray will one day be eradicated. My condolences to Mickey's family. As for the car, it looks like it's in good hands with Reggie Hill, and will be one day be completed the right way.
My condolences to the family and his friends that helped get car together. I myself look around at my stuff and wonder if I'll be the last man standing or will some one have to sort out a collection of over 60 years. RIP Mike. Pat
I got to hang out with Mickey a couple of times to help him work on his car before he sold it. Great guy, and very inspiring. His wife texted me shortly after his passing and I thought about updating the thread that he had passed but wasnt sure how the family felt about telling what was theirs to let everyone know. RIP Mickey!
All these cancer deaths are just not right. This country can spend billions of dollars to put a man on the moon, but can’t find a cure for cancer. There is probably a cure to be found but drug companies don’t want it out for people to use because of the dollars they would loose.
When I saw the thread I knew what had occurred without reading a single post. A reminder we all have a death sentence to face, as the thread title conveys. In response here is the best sentence I can come up with in response. May the good Lord keep and bless you, may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, and give you peace. BB
I sure admired his attitude & how he "kept on" with help from some of you guys. May he rest in peace...
Damn... Rest easy Mickey [emoji120] Lost my Father to pancreatic cancer this past feb. 2020 also, 66 years old. They just lived one town apart from each other too.
