Special thanks to Hamber"Curator" for coming over and helping me place the body back on, and you are right about my rear hairpin location, it needs moved up alittle, it looked good with out the body on, but will get moved up after seeing it in the pics....but that will have to wait, as of Friday I am off to Florida with the family and this time its mandatory that I go, got out of it last time, so I owe them, hat to lose a week of build time, but will take a break from them 2am nights and getting up at 5am to go to work. Plan on taking my 3 year old daughter to the Garlits museum..........I can wait for the local cops p***ing this coupe up on the street........Littleman

Holy F'in Welding batman - looks like a automated machine did those!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you cutting everything with a Plaz or something else? - I know hole saws for the holes but how do you get such clean precise cuts on everything?

How long you been practicing with the TIG to make welds like that? What thickness is the Steel, Tungsten, & Filler???

What type of Tungsten do you use to weld the Stainless sleeves to the regular steel?

This thing makes me want to s**** everything except the body and start completely over again

Absolutely amazing, you are one fine fabricator. The welds, and design are first cl***. I am anxiously waiting for it to be finished.
What do you do for a living?

I have no Plasma cutter, need to save up for one...Everything is cut on my old band saw, those reinforcement plates are 3/16" thick..Actually I dislike my welds on this thing, I need to take a cl*** or keep practicing, I have no training and get flustrated at times. Thanks for the compliments Thou, maybe I am doing something right.......I know two local ch***is guys, and those guys can weld, I am hoping to do what they do one day...But they do it every day..Most of the welds I was on my hands and knees with one elbow on the floor the other on the pedal and holding the filler rod, so I was not comfortable and you get to the point lets just get them done On those plates I used 3/32 Tugsten and 3/32" rod, but most of the time I think I use 1/16" rod but would have to check. When I welded the Stainless sleeves to the boxed steel, I used stainless rod....And using the band saw is real slow going....Thanks again...........Littleman

Damn!! The welding and fabrication on that frame is awesome! Mega props for you. You say you dont like the welds, I think they look right on!! I thought I heard you may have this at Autorama-Detroit. Is that true?? I hope so. I would love to see this thing in person. Awesome, just plain awesome- Dustin
