DeathsDoorStep update....Devil made me do it w/new pics

Some coupes just have the look that they can back up unchopped. Littleman your was one of those.

But none the less I'm looking forward to the new hammered lid. I suppose it makes sense. That is really the only part of the car you HADN'T modified.

so much better, but if you are gonna chop it chop it, not no little 3 iches chop. So much better. I never chopped my coupe and everyone said they liked it. Personally now I would rather see the m chopped.

It's HIS car!!!! - he didn't think it was "Done" or "Finished" let him decide how to build his own car.
The car is perfect and with his style, skills and knowledge the chop will be perfect

This IS "DEATH'S DOOR STEP" after all

Ok, after running around in circles in my mind with chop it-no chop-chop it, and looking and studying the car from all angles, including laying next to the car looking up at it...........I have made the decision that it needs to lose 2'' off the top. I love most of the angles of the car....but a couple really bother me........@ certain angles the heavy upper proportion of the body hurts it....And I believe it will not take much to cure this........I could be wrong.but only one way to find out...........I will cut on the lower line of the tape and place the roof back on and post some pics................Still waiting on the work to be complete on the new engine, still need to measure the pushrod length and get them ordered..............getting real close.............Thanks , Littleman

I am just dropping it straight down....do have some crazy ideas for an angled chop.....but decided to save it for the next Model A victim........decided it would make this car just alittle too busy.....Littleman

 

I totally agree,but it was those couple of angles that bothered me thou............And was thinking it was the last untouched part of the car.............Littleman...............chop = HOTROD
