Whi is all going to the swap meet in Decature TX this weekend ? I have never been to this particular swap meet, who has directions coming from dallas ? What am I to expect. Pan on going Saturday.
Yeah, I have the same problem...every year I forget how to get to that one...I usally go to Denton from Flower Mound and cut over but someone said there is a faster way from Flower Mound...hey Bass, what directions are you using?
It's HWY 51 south of Decatur just a little ways. Leave town on 51 by Wal-Mart and head south. You will get to the edge of town and it will be on your left side.
IT WAS PERFECT TODAY!!!!! Very little mud. Lots of people setting up !!! I got some really cool cheater slicks today and another S-10 5-speed.

Well that was disappointing... Found a model A rear spring...with broken leaves found a '39 brake drum...rusted to hell found some pre-40 wheels...with big nasty tires on em I could never fit in my car found some '55-'59 chevy truck guage clusters the guy wanted WAY too much for... oh well. I did get an engine for a mini bike and a custom bike with some chopper-iffic front forks I'll use on the mini bike. Had to leave early for work too. Later!
Some of those cars/parts people wanted an arm and a leg for, or is it me? Anyhow, I got a chrome 56 F100 grill, and a set of 4 WWW, kinda had to go home with my tail between my legs after adding up what I spent on them tires and grill...
I got a set of brand new 5.50 x 16 WWW tires on the SUPER CHEAP. Also found the firewall for my coupe, 16" steel wheels, 16" wire wheels, and some other sheet metal for the A-Bone. It was a good swap in my opinion.
i got an old shitty air cleaner.i was tired as hell but it was fun.it always is when im rollin' with my holmies.
