I just picked up a brand new, never used Miller syncrowave 180sd. Tig, stick machine, with a full bottle of argon, filler rods and stick rods, and a nice cart all for $1000 Canadian! I'm stoked! The guy bought it new in 06' and never used it. He gave me the receipt and everything. I have a friend coming over tomorrow to show me how to use it. I can only mig right now so this is going to be fun. Let the learning begin! Peter

You paid a bit less than half what they cost new, I love my Miller, they came out with a machine that a lot of guys like better, some are just getting rid of the 06 models and earlier, not me.

  7. Hell yeah.

I got about the same deal about 2 months ago on the same welder. My 180 was used for a whole 30 min, Got it from my buddy, he burned up the piece he was working on and called over a professional. I got mine for 1100 US that included a new tank, 99 year lease, lines, extra torch and pedal. It also included 20 pounds of steel rod, 10 pounds of stainless rod, 10 pounds of Aluminum rod, and about 15 tungsten tips. Welding hood, gloves, everything he had, he has sworn off doing any more welding. Now he pays me to do his welding. Best part is my bud works for Prax-Air and he fills my bottles for me, last 99% argon bottle cost me $12.00, that's the big bottle. Anytime I need something he picks it up for me at cost, their cost not the advertised cost:eek:
