    How about a cool 331, 354 or 392 Hemi? Can't go wrong with one of those.

    As been said, FORD IN A FORD. Now as far as which one, I'd definately stay small block, ever considered a 300 I6??? You've got a long narrow engine bay, it would fit perfect.

    I'd also stick with an 8.8. Picked mine up with under 40K for 125 bucks and a tracloc for 50. Got a complete rear now with under 40K on it for less than 175 bucks...

    Oh yeah it has disc brakes too...

    My dad used a 302 in his 48 Ford sedan. He used some stock manifolds. Not sure what the booster is from.
