Iv searched the internet for the past hour and cannot get this carb Id tag to return anything.

it’s a motorcraft 2100 and the gasket kit I bought for it isn’t quite right which prompted me to look up the tag.

    The tag reads D9DE-RB.
That would make it for a 1979 midsize (Granada / Monarch) car with revision code and supplier being the RB.

What size venturii does it have? Those carbs came in a wide variety of vehicles and engines. You can see the venturii size behind the throttle linkage arm inside a cast bullseye. It will say 1.02, 1.08, 1.21, etc.

Those carbs are great carbs to work with and in my opinion vastly superior to the more popular brand. I use them often.

Thanks for the reply! I could not find anything. It’s sitting on my y block.

btw has a 1.08 Venturi. I rebuilt the carb with a kit from Macs and chased a vacuum leak after the rebuild to the bowl gasket not blocking off a vacuum signal like the original gasket
