If you had to make a choice between two totally different events and it was not a business type decision what would you do. Please tell me that there is not somoeme here on the HAmb comtemplating going to NSRA nats in Oklahoma City,OK rather than supporting the Continentals at the Lone Star Roundup.

I know where I will be on April 4,5,6

    AUSTIN T**** FOR ME

I know a lot of people who usually go to ok for the nats. When they saw coverage of the round up they said "screw ok city... Austin here we come!"

Unfortunatly I'm not making either this year. ****s real bad...

The NSRA nats are that weekend? Hmm. You'd think they'd switch weekends. It would **** to have to work that show...knowing whats going on down here.:)

    That was the plan.

When I told my grandmother that we were moving she was pretty upset.
And when I told her that we were going to be gone on our birthdays she was even more upset.
My birthday is April 4th and my wifes is April 6th.

So I guess we are spending that weekend with my family. Got to keep grandma happy. She is getting old. I'd hate to miss this opprotunity to spend time with family if it means that much to her.

****s *** if you ask me but what are you going to do...

Are you effin' kidding me? NSRA events ****. They are on the same weekend this year, whoever came up with that idea has got to be slow....I would normally have to work the show with Sachse, but I'll be at the Roundup for sure. But I don't think anyone who chooses the NSRA show over the Roundup will be missed.

you had better be. You and that damned wagon :D

Did the okc thing...once 7-8 years ago. Best part of that show was the burnouts on Meridian....before the cops got called.

Hard to figure how anything could be better than the Roundup.

FIRST of all, why go to OK when you can go to Texas? After that, it's all easy. The Roundup will rockyersocks.

I haven't been to either. I do go to NSRA in Knoxville so that pretty much is all I do with NSRA annually. I'd pick Austin...seen a lot of coverage and looks like way fun plus the fact more my type of cars would be there!

I have never been to either but from what I hear, LONE STAR is the place that no one wants to miss. I'd give my foot to be going this year, but my dog is getting knee surgery next thursday and will require full attention for 8 weeks. Lame excuse but, I love that son of a *****!!!! I say go to LONE STAR!!!!

I've never been to either but seeing as how far people will travel (self included :D) to go to the Round Up I'd say there has to be a draw. Like someone said, if they pick the Nats over the Round Up I'm guessing they won't be missed! :D

Guess I'll find out what this Round Up is all about in a coupe weeks, well three to be exact ;) :D

    Danny,

I took a new job that has me on the road all of 2008. Amsterdam, Miami, Rotterdam, Nashville,????

I already have my plane tickets. Do I really need to come and pull you by the ear?

Aside from the fact that most of the cars at the NSRA event wouldn't be my style, I'll never attend another NSRA event after I had one of their officials tell me that the hot rod industry is NO PLACE for a young person, especially a young woman.

    Round Up, all the way!
