Super Clean by Castrol. Cheaper by the gallon. Get a garden sprayer, heat the water before placing in sprayer. Over night soaking help's as well. Some guy's like oven cleaner. Really caked on grease/dirt may also require gettig dirty and scraping the really big stuff. Use a truck wash bay if you have one in your area, more pressure, blast away!

The best way ,is to use a steamcleaner/powerwasher .If one is not handy for rent ,use the stuff in the purple bottle.Just don't get that chemical near alum parts it will etch them .I can not remember the exact name but like i said it comes in a purple bottle and available at any parts place .A regular car wash power spray is 500-1100 psi ,the self service car wash type.A rentable steamcleaner can go to 5000 psi and the heat will melt the greasy gunk away . thats the stuff like slammed said SUPER CLEAN .sould be called highly cuastic !

i may have to rent the steam cleaner.the pressure washer i got is about 1500 psi.like i said i want it clean so the guys doing the brakes dont have to deal with it.most of the bottom cleaned up quick.

I use a power washer with plain old Dawn dish soap. "Dawn takes grease out of your way"
