Delco Generator rebuild questions???

I have a 12v delco generator. And I can't get the fan/pulley nut off...... I'm young n dumb n poor...... Please help

 

Try an impact light on the trigger and some pb blaster.

 

I need to hold the pulley from spinning don't I ? Impact is just going to spin the generator i think

 

An impact will usually get it off. Think about why they call it an "impact wrench". Be careful not to have your fingers anywhere near the pulley or fan when you do it.
