I have dimantled my Delco Lovejoy Shocks (part no. 1200A/B) for a clean up and overhaul as they both were empty of oil in the main due to the end caps being bent and not sealing against the body. I marked the position of each arm in relation to the spline but what I would like to know is how do I determine the best position for the arm? Any help would be gratefully received. Car is a T bucket 60's style.
