Hey guys I purchased a 32 sedan project which per photo has a stock 1950 merc engine with all the original pully's EXCEPT has an alternator in lieu of the generator. I do not have a belt and I guess I could try the string method but I am sure someone else has changed their flatty to an alternator. Can someone tell me what size belt they used or say a napa number thanks Guys Tom

Hi Don ! Sorry I could not remember your initial response. I took the number you gave me to NAPA and they were not helpful at all. Is it possible you could just measure the length of your belt for me ? thanks Tom

I believe a Gates 7516 will be really close if not correct. Just under 52.5" long.
