So corn cob coupe moderator guy deleted my post regarding
a band saw I use to cut steel for my hot rod projects. How is a
band saw different than a welding machine or other such tools
that are often inquired about on the hamb? I think that is being
a bit selective. It was posted in the technical field and I feel it
    is very much on topic?

Welcome to the club, I would have never dreamed tools were considered off topic.

I posted about my air compressor and it too was deleted, it seems all of a sudden tools and equipment IS off topic, I don't agree but I don't make or enforce the rules, I was sent to the garage journal to try and find help.

For years the hamb has been my one stop shopping for information and now it feel like I am being told to go to the business down the street, we use to offer what you and others want but we decide not to have it anymore, go somewhere else. HRP

Maybe a new “tools” sub-forum is in order.
Tools have never been something deleted from the H.A.M.B. when they related to building Hotrod’s.

Your correct Rick, it takes hand tools, saws, compressors, etc to build traditional hot rods and customs. HRP

    www.garagejournal.com

try it - you’ll get a much larger response there.
