Searched and can't find definitive answer. 700r4. Will a SBC run cooler with a remote ****** cooler compared to running the cooler lines through a Walker radiator?.

The cooler in the radiator serves two purposes. If the ****** happens to overheat, it cools it. A probably more important function of that system is to warm up the ****** quickly so it isn't running on cold seals and water condensate. Stop and think; old GM Hydramatics which used a fluid coupling instead of a lock-up torque converter had no cooling provisions and moved the world (and won a lot of WWII battles in military tanks) for more than two decades.
