I say DON'T do it. It's just not worth it. Sure, there are those who have done this or that and got away with it, and some have not.

I'm sure there are cars being bought and sold all the time with****les that are not original to the vehicle they are being used with. But that was someone else breaking the law. And, if you decide to bend or break the law, remember that three men can keep a secret if two of them are dead. I wouldn't talk about it on a public forum, just my 2 cents.

 

Everything will go to hell if you have the car stolen or damage it in an accident. Besides the risk of turning in a bad****le and having DMV show up to impound the "stolen" car.
