deleting a string of old , posts how?

I don't think you can readily delete your entire posts. You should however be able to edit the content in your individual posts to remove or change information. If you're worried about them just taking up space they're probably not worth messing with. And the info will still be available to view for anybody searching thru the old threads for something.
