Technical Dented or kinked frame question .

We follow osha and also have yearly safety inspections required by the provincial government .


A new overhead guard is easily $7-8000 bucks or more , plus lead time to get it .

having it repaired is perfectly fine .

but it needs to be engineered , stamped with a tag from the engineering firm and all repaired done by a certified welder .


I know , I know , the “ truck” is not traditional , but the concept of frame repair transfers over and I know there are some ridiculously talented metal smiths on this site .

I was looking for answers to a question that is simply “ grey”. I guess as long as it’s safe , it’s safe . If I’m unsure then get is fixed !
