Hi, I'm Jack from British Columbia and I,ve heard good stuff about this site so here I am. My handle describes my current ride which is a 27 T roadster p.u. which I bought several years ago [ I,ve always been into early stuff cause I can't help it ] The T had a v6 in it when I found it and I drove it straight home and yanked it to make room for a 276 desoto hemi, I have a few hemis now as well as a 364 nailhead, a 324 rocket,as well as a rollerized chev 400 which is going into my 39 ford deluxe 2dr,I also have a few more projects and look forward to becoming familiar with this site. I am a auto trimmer by trade and play with some other aspects of the hotrod scene as well.
Hey, sounds like you got some cool rides. I'm currently in Ontario, but will be moving to Nelson in the fall. I've got a 1956 chevy and I want to bring it with me if I can. Cruising in the mountains would be sweet, hopefully no need for the runaway lanes tho. I was wondering how tight inspection is on rat rods? sounds like you might know? My car is sitting on an 87 caprice frame that is fully boxed by a certified welder... but still it looks great, but the rest looks like heat and probably is. Do you think I'd be hard pressed to get a safety and jump through all the hoops to get it registered there? Any input would be awesome. thanks duder.
