    *****in’ everything about it.
And who ever took the pics was no rookie.
The natural sun lighting, angles, equipment all professional, and that added to the pictures perfect over the top. Yea…..

First time I think I've seen this one but reached the same conclusions. Just exactly right.
If I was going to build one for myself, that's the way I'd want it to turn out.
Not that it necessarily would.....

I've loved that one for a long time. What's not to love about a Nailhead in a roadster pickup?

Does anybody have any idea what wide five hubcaps these are?

Wow, I really like that RPU. It's the kind of little pickup that's ready to roll at a moment's notice with the flick of a key.

And as much as I think the term is overused it really is an 'honest' hotrod.

I would love to own such a car and I think a perfect stable mate would be Dave Wittenberg's '28. With those you'd have both sides of the show/go coin.

Looks like a more modern wheel that’s mated up to cap ring that has been attached to a Wide 5 V8 hubcap.

I’d put those on my 39 Convertible if I could come up with similar.

I have always dug Dave @Detonator Welles' RPU . . . Here's a few of my ****py snapshots of it at the 2009 Goodguys West Coast Nats in Pleasanton:

Dave Welles has a great eye and is a good dude. If you happen to be on IG, look him up for more proof -

I went to the archives and found these photos of Dave's RPU from my hot rod run in 2010...

It's definitely a beautiful little pickup. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the 32 rpu with the crafty backseat built by @NealinCA. That one is on my list of favorites and the build thread was an eye opener.
