Event Coverage Detroit Autorama Daydreams

I feel lucky that as a kid I could go to the Detroit AutoRama and see these amazing cars of all kinds. I've been to AutoRama countless times in 40+ years, and I'll be heading there again tomorrow.

 

Someday I’ll make it back to Detroit. I’ve also missed the show by a few days a couple times.

 

Started going in the early 70’s as a kid and haven’t missed a year, other than the Covid shutdown..

 

Jeff Norwell introduced me to you in 2014. He and I had our cars entered upstairs that year. After the introduction, I started reading your pieces and have enjoyed them ever since.

Good post. I have never been. I need to correct that.

 

I was there yesterday it was beyond words. But the best in my humble opinion was downstairs, wow!! I walked by this club that had a carlot set up with their own rides. I felt 16 again. COLD BEER good music and lotsa detroit iron, what more do you want.?!!
