Cool shots Rich, especially the Dixie Hwy. cruisin shot. The woman at the counter at the convenience store where we stopped, was excited to see everyone cruise in. Definately a good time. I completely forgot about the noon meet and greet, but had the pleasure of speaking with a few HAMBers that I had never met before. -Joe

  11. Well, I'm hot, tired, fat and happy. What a great show it was yesterday.

I really enjoyed meeting so many cool people. Lots of great cars( next time I have to actually see 'em). Good music. Many cool people.

I mostly hung out at the "Billetproof Pinstriper Headquarters". We were all having so much fun. It was very hard to get away and see the rest of the show. There were a ton of HAMB artist's and others in attendence. In all of my 30 years in the business, it's at these events and it's participants that make me feel good and to be alive. We had a blast slingin' 1Shot and tellin' lies. I got to work on a few cool rides( DirtyT's, Fuelpumps ) and a Skull. :D I made many new friends and continued many more from previous events, all linked on account of this great site.

I'll post a few pics later in the week. Just a awesome day. I want to thank so many of you for making me feel so welcome. Michigan HAMBr's RULE!

I can't wait for the Broken Dream Cruise now.

    Joel :)

p.s. Not to mention cruising the famed Woodward Ave. with all those cool HAMBr rides was a major highlight for me. Very Historical.

Here are some pics that I took. It was an awsome weekend. There is always so much going on up there :( wish it was like that in Fart Wayne!! Got to meet a lot of people and see some others again. RRT BBQ was great as always!! :D Thanks Enjenjo and Cheryl for the good eats.
The group shot was taken late so its hard to see, I lightened it up the best that I could.
I like the pic of Cadillac Bob's Lincoln and ours together, hard to believe that it used to look like his.
And the one of the back of the wagon with the ironing board and nylons tied to it, lol:p
Rudy (ake Chip) and Race colleting their award for the Best Hot Rod for the Sedan, very cool award!!!

Billet proof was a blast! Like Joel I spent most of my time at the pinstripers jam. I got to put the brush to Fathacks ride. Met many HAMBers. Denise I hope the ransom for your door isn't too high!

my daughter was in charge of pictures so most of them were of the horse show next door.

Did get this shot of some of the striping on the back of fathacks ride

I had people thanking me all day for bringing Billetproof to Michigan. The real thanks go out to everyone in Michigan who worked to make it happen and ESPECIALLY to EVERYONE who came out to the show. Without you guys there it's just an empty lot. YOU are the COOL!

    Here is my take...

    1. Kirk busts his *** to put on awesome events. I haven't been to one yet but hopefully some day.

    2. the GMB have too much fun. I am jealous.

    You all rule.

musta been all the hot sun and cold beer but i'm STILL whooped. i had a great time. it was great cruisin in ****o's sofa on wheels. if ya mounted a big screen in the glovebox you'd never get him out of it. :D

on the way to the show we encountered some strange rattling noise from under the Olds. found out one of the new front shocks was bottoming out and had bent the shock mounting tabs enough that one bolt had let go and the other was about to, so we decided to take it out. not so easy with no jack. no problem. we just used the curb at a gas station, on the way to the show, as a ramp, then backed off it with the shock hangin out to bend it enough that it would come out. luckily we brought Jake "the neighbor kid" along for the crawling under the car stuff. :D it did'nt take long and we were back on the road.... only to discover that the noise was STILL THERE!! so much for that brand new shock  ...

  28. There must of been over a million dollars worth of restored and original Mopar supercars from the '70's in the Bennigan's parking lot. Not one of them knew how to start the 'Cuda 'vert. It wasn't till DIRTYT armed with a 1/2-9/16th box wrench sauntered over there to inquire if GMB help was needed.

All the Mopar Goldchainers wanted was the tool. When the Mopar hottie in the green top and shorts realized that Bryan was the only male a****st them that knew what they were doing, she started to move closer to Bryan and almost engulfed him in "Goldchain Mopar Love"! It was quite a scene. DIRTYT ever the GMB gentleman fought her "Big Block Hemi" advances and retreated back to the "Billetproof Pack" for a ride down Woodward Ave. after getting the "Walter P. Chrysler" started. I feel a full scale "Pistol Grip Lustfest " was averted.

My hats off to Bryan, Billetproof most valuble player '05!

    :D :D :D :D
